The students of DCS had great results from the community garden.  Recently, tomatoes and peppers were harvested, washed, and cut by the students.  A delicious chili soup was prepared for the students to eat at one of our lunches.  Since the addition of the greenhouse, students are able to observe the full cycle - sprouting seeds, watch them grow into plants, and then transplant them into the garden, where vegetables will grow and again be harvested!
