Dream Garden

The Discovery Charter School (DCS) Governance Council is initiating a major capital project to transform our campus into a premier Outdoor Learning Center, known as the Dream Garden. This strategic initiative represents a significant enhancement to our educational infrastructure, moving beyond traditional boundaries to create a truly experiential learning environment.

The Vision: The Dream Garden Outdoor Learning Center

The Dream Garden is a multi-phased project that has evolved from a simple greenhouse replacement plan into a comprehensive, state-of-the-art outdoor classroom.

• A New Permanent Greenhouse: Replacing our current structure, this facility will provide a robust space for year-round botany, agricultural science, and seed-to-table programs.

• Outdoor Learning Area & Stage: A dedicated space with permanent seating and a stage to host classes, presentations, and community events, providing a dynamic area for literacy, drama, and large-group instruction.

Enhanced Infrastructure: The plan includes necessary fencing for security and clearly defined paths to support focused, curriculum-based activities.
