Outdoor Classroom Lessons

DCS prides itself on giving students many opportunities to engage in learning through outdoor experiences.  The outdoor locations may include the schoolyard, gardens, Columbus neighborhoods, local parks, woods, etc.

Here are examples of lessons that exemplify the power of the outdoor classroom in engaging students and deepening their understanding of the world around them.
